Active Shooter Preparedness

Active shooter incidents have become an alarmingly common threat to schools and universities nationwide. While regulations mandate that educational institutions provide active shooter response training, the specific content and response plans are often left vague, leaving institutions to develop their own approaches.   • Active Shooter Training and Exercises: HSC’s active shooter training is specifically designed for educational institutions. Our comprehensive approach facilitates collaborative discussions among key stakeholders – including educators, first responders, counselors, nurses, and leadership – to address all aspects of the active shooter threat: prevention, mitigation, response, and recovery. Our custom Disaster Recovery Public Assistance Training is a comprehensive program designed to address all aspects of financial administration when preparing for, responding to, and recovering from disasters to leverage the benefits of FEMA’s Public Assistance (PA) program, the agency’s largest grant program for local communities.

This training is tailored for those with little to no prior disaster experience. Our comprehensive curriculum equips participants to fully leverage FEMA’s Public Assistance program.
